If you are starting a new case you must tell the other side about NYSCEF by delivering a Notice of E-filing when your court
papers are served. After you upload your papers to NYSCEF, clicking on the E-filing Notice button on the Thank You page will give
you the right form to serve. Print the Notice and have it served with your court papers on all the other parties.
There are two different notices depending on what county and court you are starting your case in. There is an E-filing Notice
that tells the other side about the option to e-file. There is an E-filing Notice for Mandatory Cases that lets attorneys know
that they must e-file their papers. Clicking on the button in NYSCEF will give you the right form to serve. Or visit
